The Flight of the Earls commemoration offers a once in a lifetime unique
tour of Ireland, on board the 19th century replica Famine ship, the Jeanie
Johnston. You will depart Dublin docklands on Sunday the 9th of September
and sail northwards along the Irish Sea, across the stunning coastal scenery
of the North Atlantic coast. You will arrive in the historic village of

Thursday you will attend a gala Flight of the Earls Banquet at one of

re-enact a 16th century style banquet with jesters, bards and Irish
warriors. Friday the 14th marks the 400th anniversary of the Flight of the
Earls. To mark this momentous occasion you will be invited to a ceremony at
the very place the Earls departed from 400 years ago. Afterwards you will
be given a tour of the Flight of the Earl's centre and local abbey. On
Saturday the 15th enjoy a very special outdoor carnival and spectacular sea
