Met
up at the Glenmalure Hotel and started the walk to the side of Carriglineen
Mountain up to the Shay Elliott Memorial. Onwards to the standing stone near
Mullacor Mountain.
We
doubled back from there down the forest track back down the valley to Coolalingo
Bridge on the Wicklow Way near Glenmalure.
A
welcome pint and mugs of tea and cake met us in the lovely Glenmalure Hotel –
all hands enjoyed the walk and the hospitality of Glenmalure..
Walk
started at 10.15hrs and finished at 13.15hrs.
Weather
was good at the start, showers came
in from the south west with lots of cloud and was cold at times. However it was
dry overall!!!
Either
way, we all enjoyed the day out in the hills.
