2.0 2.0 RULES AND ELIGIBILITY
The handicap system will be the same standard non adjustable system used in most dinghy regattas.
Entries are accepted at the sole discretion of the Organising Committee.
3.0 3.0 DIVISIONS/CLASSES
3.1 Competitors are likely to be divided into fleets on the basis of their sailing ability.
There will be two fleets Gold fleet and Silver fleet
4.0 4.0 SCHEDULE OF RACES
4.1 The starting sequence for the three races will be:
The Gold fleet starts first.
The Gold fleets go signal will be the Silver fleets 5 minute signal
On Saturday the 29th at :12.00 start for the gold fleet

The Organising Authority reserves the right to amend the Schedule of Races and starting sequence.
5.0 5.0 SCORING & DISCARDS
The Low Point scoring system of Appendix A of the RRS will apply. One race is required to be completed to constitute a series. When all three races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score. Otherwise a boat's series score will be the total of her race scores.
6.0 6.0 ENTRIES
Entries shall be made by completing the entry form and returning the form to Wicklow Sailing.
Entry Fees: 15 euro for a single handed boats and 25 euro for double handed boats
7.0 7.0 SAIL NUMBERS
Each boat shall show a distinguishing number on each side of its mainsail, which shall be the same number as declared on the Entry Form.
9.0 8.0 RESULTS
The over all results will be displayed in the club house the evening of the 25th prior to the prize giving

PRIZ 9.0 PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded in each Class and will consist of individual race prizes and overall prizes .
11.0 10.0 REGISTRATION AND SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
All entrants shall register with the Race Office in Wicklow Sailing Club upon arrival. Sailing Instructions will be available on registration and may be posted on the website prior to the event. The Pre Event Race Office hours are:

12.0 11.0 RACING AREA
Races will be sailed in Wicklow Bay, north of Wicklow Head and south of Six Mile Point. The course will be detailed in the sailing instructions

Entertainment and crew games will be provided after racing. Competitors are granted temporary membership of Wicklow Sailing Club for the duration of the event subject only to the provisions of the Club Constitution.

Competitors participate in the Islandmaritime Junior Regatta entirely at there own risk. See RRs - rule 4- Decision to Race. Wicklow Sailing Club and their officers, servants and agents accept no responsibility in respect of loss of life, personal injury or loss of or damage to property sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after the Regatta. It is the sole and exclusive responsibility of each owner or owner's representative to decide whether or not to start or continue to race. Owners shall acknowledge their responsibility on the official Entry Form and draw attention of their crew and associates to this disclaimer. Boat owners and crew shall ensure that they are adequately insured against loss, damage or injury to persons, boats or equipment at all times and however occurring.
