WSC has active Cruiser and Dinghy fleets, with an emerging Powerboat section.

Cruiser Section - with almost 30 cruiser moorings occupied during the Season, we are at full capacity at present and there is also the issue of River space availability in strong North Easterly winds. Through the goodwill of helpful members, we have a number of active subcommittees looking after Racing (Henrik Heckmann + ors), Moorings (Tony Gillespie + ors), Cruising and Events (Charlie Kavanagh + ors) and  Equipment (Paul Sinnott + ors).

Dinghy Section - The 1st dinghies came into the Club in the early 1950's - 6 Cadets and ever since there has been an active dinghy fleet in WSC. Now with over 50 boats owned by members and a vibrant Junior Training set-up, our youth are cutting their teeth in the smaller boats before emerging as very competitive crew in the Cruiser racing fleet. With our newly surfaced boatpark, we hope to attract more adult dinghy sailors to participate on our club racing. There are a number of Sub-committees operating in this area - Dinghies (Olivia Flahive + ors), Events (Charlie Kavanagh + ors), Boatpark (Vincent Long + ors), ISA Centre Principal (Barry O Sullivan - retiring), Juniors (Jonathon Flood + ors), Junior Training (Sean Flood + ors).
